IDFI and the YSU Center of Innovational Social Research (CISR) signed a memorandum of cooperation

On November 3, 2023, the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Center of Innovational Social Research of Yerevan State University (YSU). The memorandum aims at joint research, development of grant projects, and sharing of experience.

 

The Center of Innovational Social Research operates within the Faculty of Sociology of Yerevan State University. The main activities of the research center include the production of basic and applied research in social, humanitarian, and educational fields.

 

The center is also engaged in the analysis of scientific and educational programs, organization and coordination of field research works, and development of research results in cooperation with local and international donor organizations.

 

The center's goal is to use cutting-edge research methods that combine their basic and applied social research traditions. The Center's research policy aims to promote the effectiveness of research in Armenia by involving a wide range of researchers with different backgrounds.

 

The Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) and the Center for Innovational Social Research (CISR) will work with Slovak partners on a joint project funded by the Civic Innovation Fund (CIF). The purpose of the project is to research the impact of political repression and includes recording interviews with those repressed during the communist regime.
